BHR’s mission is to provide behavioral health management services to organizations and groups that serve the serious and persistent mentally ill population. Our services are designed to provide cost-effective treatment development that is intended to afford significant relief from the symptoms of mental illness.

We help support our partner groups, so that they can focus on facilitating each client’s ability to return or remain in the community, and avoid escalating treatment to higher levels of care. We ensure, through operational oversight, that these services are provided with the utmost respect to the individual, paying particular attention to their cultural needs.

History

Founded in 1999 by President and CEO Neisha Becton, M.A., Becton Healthcare Resources, Inc. (BHR) began as a small startup, and has grown into a true leader in innovative and compassionate healthcare management services. We serve Medical Groups, Hospitals, Regional Centers, and Community Health Organizations with a focus on mental health.

BHR was established to address urgent needs within the mental health community, developing cost-effective, outcome-oriented healthcare systems. As healthcare costs have risen, we’ve provided innovative solutions that enhance client care while efficiently utilizing resources. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, cost-effective services tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.

For instance, in 2015, we launched a state-of-the-art centralized call center to better meet patient needs and another project to enhance care quality through immediate patient feedback.
